Deciding between 4dx or Plugins folder
|

If you are using 4D 2004 or greater, you have the option of using the new .bundle format or the original .4dx/.4cx files.
If the plugin is available in .bundle format, it is recommended you use that as opposed to using the 4dx folder as it is much easier to manage as the same file can be used on Mac and Windows installations.
Make sure you only have one installed, as using both formats will lead to unexpected results.
